Blurbs from the boys...

Colson and Aven are always saying hilarious things. I want to remember as much of their quirky little sayings as I can...time goes by so fast. So, I love sharing their little funnies. Kid's really do say the darnedest things! Enjoy!

*Colson- Flexing muscles, "Look how strong I am!" Aven- Flexing muscles, "Look how strong I am!" Colson- "I can kill a lion with my hands!" Aven, "I could kill a SLUG with my shoe!" 8/2010

* Aven always refers to the past as "last morning...!" 8/27/10

* Carey- "Did you have your pictures made at school today?" Colson- "Oh yeah, I got to wear this dress and a hat... I looked-ed adorable!" - 3/23/10

* while eating lunch, out of the blue (and very big boy like) Aven says, "Mommy, what's on your mind?" 3/19/10

* "Mommy, are you a people?" - Aven 2/2010

* "ahind"(behind) - Colson  --  "bfront" (in front) - Aven   ages 4 & 2

* "I know about our family...Aven is the fussy one, I'm always really hungry every day, Mommy forgets things and Daddy, you're the busiest one!" - Colson 1/9/10

* Colson received a treat bag at preschool today from Riley. After pulling every item out and wowing over each one he says, "Riley is the cutest girl in the whole world, I've ever seen!" Then tonight when he showed Bob all of the goodies and Bob asked who they were from Colson said, "Riley, she LIKES me! She's FANCY!" (with a little draw) :) - 10/29/09

* "I won the WipeOut Champion...Woo!" - Aven 8/16/09

* "Mommy, are there going to be beds in Heaven?" - Colson 8/16/09

* "I sink I did it!" "I sink I fixed it!"  - Looking at a pic of termites Aven says, "I sink its a milwapede Janinie!" - Aven 7/27/09

* (A conversation between Colson & Aven in the van while Aven is munching on some cereal.) Aven to Colson "You like raisins?" Colson-very short, "No." Aven-"You like cereal?" Colson-very moody, "No." Aven-"You like Jesus?" Colson-hesitating, almost saying "No" without thinking says, "Yes but don't talk to me right now." 7/2009

* "What in the woy-uld? Huh?!" -Aven 7/2009

* the boys arguing back and forth "I'm the fastest." "I'm the fastest first!" "No, I'm the fastest first!" 6/20/09

* while listening to some Louie Armstrong, Colson said..."He sounds like cookie monster!" 6/24/09

* "Oh no...Aven's on the loose!" - Colson 6/23/09

* "You guys are driving me nuts!" colson 6/20/09 (As Bob and I are trying to talk in the van...Colson thinks he must be able to dominate all conversations. :) )

* As he points to words..."What it says?" - Aven

* (Mommy)-"What animal does bacon come from?" (Colson)-"A pig." Mommy-What animal does pork come from?" (Colson)-"A porcupine."

* "I've got the cleanest bootie in the world!" - Colson

* "Daddy, you made a bad choice." After Bob told Colson to do something Colson wasn't very keen on doing.

* "This is bootie wipeout at second thirty!" (As Colson uses our couch for part of his Wipeout course. He LOVES this show.) He also calls John Anderson and John Hansen - John Anerson and John Handsome

* "Hey! What's going up?" (instead of "what's going on?") -Colson

* "I have everystuff I need." -Colson 2008

* Colson not wanting to go to sleep, came out of his room, put his little chair in the hallway, sat down... I said, "What's going on?" he replied, "I think there's a booby trap in my bedroom."

* When I asked Colson if his belly was hurting he said, "No, my feelings aren't feeling good."

* "You're not an adult, you're a cutie-pie!" * "Mommy, this will feel you better." (colson)

* "I want to take a bubble tub." (Colson)

* "Yesternight" (colson)

* "Can you do me a favorite?" (Colson)

* Aven has a terrible runny nose and when he sneezed it of course was hanging. I hurriedly went for a tissue and before I could get it he had swiped it with his hand. As I was grossing out saying, "No Aven not with your hand!" Colson watching everything said, "Yeah, I just use my tongue!"
