my baby turns 2...

well, you would have thought it was Colson's birthday instead of Aven's...he could hardly contain himself. infact, I think all of Colson's excitement left Aven a little unsure if it WAS actually his b-day and not big brothers!
Aven has amazed me in the last several months. I knew with younger siblings they usually always pick up things faster(walking, talking, etc.) because they have their older sibling/s as personal instructors. Well the first 18 months of Avens life he totally met those expectations physically but didn't take off with talking quite so fast. however, at Christmas he started saying single words and then in Jan. his vocabulary exploded! he went from one word at a time to two and three words together in just a VERY short time. In the last few months I've just been amazed at every thing he's picking up! He counts to 10 in English and Spanish and to 20 with a little help. he says the alphabet in chunks. He says complete sentences...
I just love it! no holding back now.
